Mindful Art Activity to Alleviate Anxiety

Did you know engaging in the process of art helps combat feelings of anxiety?

If you or someone you know needs a break from their anxiety, this quick project is designed to help.

Grab a handful of paper and scissors

Set aside one paper as the “main page” and cut up the rest into odd shapes, varying in sizes.

Arrange the shapes onto the main page, rearrange and rearrange as your hands and eyes desire.

Commit to a design and glue or tape the pieces securely to create your art.

If you’re still in the zone add a few designs with a writing tool of choice. Tah-dah.

This creative experience is designed to take 12-45 minutes. Repeat as necessary.
